Dance Competition
Levels
- Level 1: 1 year or less
- Level 2: 2 years or less
- Level 3: 2-3 years or more
Divisions

- Drum Solo
- Tribal Modern/Fusion/Novelty
- Props (wings, cane, candelabra,
sword, fans, etc)
Apr. 25th
- Duet
- Troupe
- Cabaret
- Costume Show
NOTE: Awards Ceremony to be
held on April 25th.
Criteria
(May be adjusted by judges for specific events.)
- Dance Technique: (performs steps
correctly, uses appropriate music, etc.)
- Costuming: (appropriate dress,
general appearance, makeup, etc.)
- Grace/Performance Skill: (choreography,
quality of performance, etc.)
- Overall Creativity: (uniqueness
of movement, costuming, etc.)
- Charm: (how performer interacts
with audience, etc.)
Rules
- Family friendly entertainment
(Discrete costuming, no nudity, or vulgarity)
- Time limit (2-5 minutes)
- Sportsmanship (Be respectful,
polite, etc.)
- Music in appropriate format (CDs
are preferred, MP3s as back-up)
- Payment of fees (Entrance fee
of $10 must be paid in order to participate.)
- Winners will be presented with
certificates; Cash prizes will be dependent upon number of participants for
each competition event.
NOTE: Although not required,
please help to support the event by spreading the word. Any additional publicity
support would also be appreciated....!
